Homemade Hand Sanitizer Recipe
When we began eliminating toxins in our home, Hand Sanitizer was the first homemade product that I put together. It is alcohol free, moisturizing, and antibacterial.
Here is the recipe:
1 Cup Aloe Vera Gel (with no alcohol or additives)
1-2 Teaspoons Witch Hazel
25 drops Essential Oil(s)
You can use any Essential Oils, but Melaleuca has the highest antibacterial properties, so I usually use 13 drops Melaleuca and then 12 drops of Peppermint for a fresh, clean scent.
Simply mix all ingredients together in a glass bowl, and then transfer to bottles using a medicine syringe or other similar utensil.
